(Summary: On north side of Wellington Road 34, between Wellington Roads 32 and 35: the trail head is marked but parking is about 100 yards east.)
You need your dogs on leash getting out of the car. Follow the trail into the woods until you come to a larger, wider trail. Turn right.
The main trail goes pretty well straight north to the next road, 4th Concession. There are numerous side trails which I always get turned around on. This is a trail that attracts some off road bikers. One of their web sites says there are some 20 km of criss-crossing trails here. Bring a compass or stay on the main trail. This means you have to retrace your steps. Good place to go on windy, rainy, cold days: protected by trees.
Approaching the parking lot, you might want to get your dog on leash.
